Jane Bruning has been the National Coordinator for Positive Women Inc since September 2004. She is a mother and very proud grandmother and has been living with HIV since 1988.
Apart from having a Graduate Diploma in Not for Profit Management, Jane also has a Masters in Social Practise (MScoP) 1st Class Honours. Her thesis is entitled Stigma and Women living with HIV: A Cooperative Inquiry.
She was the Asia Pacific UNAIDS PCB NGO Delegate from 2011-2013.
Born in Holland, Jane immigrated to Aotearoa New Zealand at the young age of four. She is passionate about travelling, having gained a National Certificate in Travel and Tourism. She has travelled extensively and lived in Tanzania for nearly 12 years.
