PSB Speaker

While we aren’t doing any face-to-face presentations under red alert level right now, we are still delivering online.  Many universities this year are returning to the classroom with options for external presenters to “zoom-in” which is very encouraging. Coming up this month we have Speakers doing virtual presentations with:

Sexwise facilitators. Sexwise travel the length and breadth of Aotearoa. Their programme enables youth to gain current, accurate information about sexuality and healthy relationships in an engaging workshop environment.

University of Auckland second year medical and 3rd Year nursing students.

Since our last update, we have been busy working on getting HIV Essentials into the e-learning systems of DHB’s throughout NZ. This means that all primary health organisations regardless of their focus or place of work, will be able to access and complete HIV Essentials. This is huge with over 250,000 people working in the Healthcare sector. Our e-learning course, coupled with a guest PSB Speaker, offers learners a unique and impactful educational experience around HIV today.

We have unfortunately had to put the Whakataki New Speakers Training programme temporarily on hold while we work through the logistics. Rest assured it will happen but possibly in a different way than originally planned. We will keep you updated once we have this more finalised.

Stay well

Abby
