African Health Service Launches on 15th March: A New Era in Healthcare for the African Community
On 15th March, a significant milestone was achieved with the official launch of NZ African Community Health Service (NZACHS). This newly established healthcare initiative aims to bridge the gap in access to healthcare for the African community, offering vital services and support to those in need. The launch marks a new chapter in community-driven healthcare solutions, focusing on improving health outcomes.
The mission of the NZCHS is to empower the African community by providing accessible, culturally sensitive, and comprehensive healthcare services. With a deep commitment to health education, prevention, and care, NZACHS seeks to address health disparities faced by African communities in Aotearoa. This incudes on reducing the rates of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, ensuring that Africans living in Aotearoa who have been affected, receive the necessary support and resources to live healthier lives.
Positive Women Inc. is proud to collaborate with the African Health Service to support the African community in their efforts to combat HIV and other Sexually transmitted Infections.
