The Board and Operations Team at Positive Women Inc., wish to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our members, and to everyone we have had the privilege of working alongside over the past year.
It’s been a busy year. The work is made so much easier, and more meaningful, when we are surrounded by people who care deeply about what they do. Across the HIV sector, there are so many dedicated, thoughtful, and generous people giving their time, energy, and commitment, every day.
We don’t always agree with each other, and we don’t always take the same path. But what unites us is far greater than what separates us: a shared commitment to reducing HIV transmission, eliminating HIV-related stigma, and ensuring people living with HIV can live full, healthy, and wonderful lives.
This work often happens quietly and behind the scenes. It shows up in conversations, in support offered at the right moment, in advocacy, education, care, and community. It shows up in persistence, even when progress feels slow, and in kindness, even when the work is hard.
As we move into the holiday season, we want to acknowledge the dedication and care which continues throughout the year, and to THANK YOU for being part of a community that supports, challenges, and strengthens one another.
We hope the coming weeks bring you rest, connection, and time with those who matter to you. We look forward to continuing this important work together in the year ahead.
