Registration is now open on Eventbrite for the HIV Women’s Seminar.  This is a full day event held at Sorento in the Park on Friday 3 October 2025.  The event provides presentations on areas affecting Women, families, heterosexual men, trans and bi women living with or affected by HIV.  

It is with much sadness we are letting you know that Lyneese passed away on 22 March 2025.

We were very sad to say goodbye to Kit Harding in March 2025.  Kit has been the Positive Speakers Bureau (PSB) Coordinator for the past two years. 

In a powerful show of unity and shared purpose, Positive Women Inc. joined The Cause Collective; a community organization dedicated to creating conditions where communities can thrive from generation to generation for a special health-focused initiative.

On 15th March, a significant milestone was achieved with the official launch of NZ African Community Health Service (NZACHS). This newly established healthcare initiative aims to bridge the gap in access to healthcare for the African community, offering vital services and support to those in need.

On March 7th, Positive Women Inc. attended the Wesley Community Centre Gymnasium at 740 Sandringham Road, which became a hub of empowerment and solidarity, as the Migrant Action Trust hosted a powerful International Women's Day celebration.

On March 8th, International Women’s Day, Positive Women Inc. participated in “The Cause Collective’s Market Fun Day” at Christlife A.O.G Onehunga Church. Representing our organization, Benji provided rapid HIV and Syphilis testing as part of our ongoing collaboration with the Burnett Foundation Aotearoa and promoting HIV testing.

On March 1st, Positive Women Inc. was invited to do HIV and Syphilis rapid testing at the Mapu Maia event, “Together We Thrive”, held at the Northcote War Memorial Hall on the North Shore, Auckland.
